Moving to Austin: Neighborhoods and Schools

So you've decided to move to Austin, one of the fastest growing cities in the US. Statistics say more than 100 people move here each day. With this many people, there are equally as many things to do here.

I have scoured the internet in search of things to do in Austin so I can share them with you. However, instead of coming up with my own ideas I am going to share with you some websites I have found that have all the details you need to know for when you move here.

What neighborhood should I move to?

This is a big decision and varies for everyone depending on what stage you are in your life. Here is a list of some of the top neighborhoods to live in as well as a QUIZ to see which neighborhood is right for you!

However, you are  in luck, because there are a plethora of amazing schools to choose from. Here are some top sites to help you on your search.

No Hidden Fees!

There is nothing worse than seeing something on TV, going to order it (for $19.99), then getting to the checkout page and getting slammed with a $40 processing and handling fee! Seriously?!

Or when you go to purchase a plane ticket, and once again, when you go to checkout, all of the sudden a $100 fee has been tacked onto the total. I'm sorry, but there is nothing more frustrating than thinking that something is going to be one price when in reality it is 3 times as expensive as you thought.

Well, let me tell you that Bird Brother's Moving and Delivery has no hidden fees!! We are 100% upfront about our pricing when you book with us. We understand that every penny counts, and we want to make sure our customers feel comfortable and aren't surprised about anything that has to do with their move.

If you are moving soon, and are looking for movers with a moral compass, then look no further and fill out our Free Quote form for more details.

See you soon!

Building A Home

Building a home, I've heard, is such a fun/exhausting experience! I cannot wait until it is our turn to build our own and have it customized to fit our family. However, for the time being we are perfectly happy in the home we are in nestled here in Lakeway, Texas.

We actually have moved quite a few people who are building their own home, and have noticed how common it is for them to move into an apartment or a rent house while their home is being built. If you are needing an interim place to stay while you are building your home check out the few I found below.

If you need help moving into your rental or your new home give us a call at 512-593-2473!
